Woman Accused of Using Forged Check from Closed Account to Pay Fine Waives Hearing

REYNOLDSVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – A a Brockway woman who allegedly used a forged check from a closed checking account to pay for a fine waived her hearing in court on Tuesday.

Court documents indicate the following charges against 38-year-old Jenifer Gwen Guaglianone were waived for court on November 30:

– Forgery -Utters Forged Writing, Felony 2
– Theft by Deception-False Impression, Misdemeanor 2

The charges have been transferred to the Jefferson County Court of Common Pleas.

Guaglianone is currently free on $5,000.00 unsecured bail.

The charges stem from an incident that took place in late April.

According to a criminal complaint, on April 30, Jenifer Guaglianone passed a $50.00 check to Magisterial District Court 54-3-02 to pay a fine.

The complaint indicates it was then found that Guaglianone had used a check from a known man’s account and had signed his name.

The check Guaglianone used was also found to be from an account that had been closed, according to the complaint.

The charges were filed against Guaglianone through Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana’s office on November 1.
