BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Charges are pending against a woman who allegedly struck and injured a man at a residence in Brookville during a domestic dispute late last week.
Around 5:40 p.m. on November 6, Brookville Borough Police were dispatched to a 9-1-1 hang-up call and domestic dispute at a residence on Madison Avenue.
Police say during the investigation, it was discovered that a physical altercation had occurred between a man and a woman at the residence, and the woman allegedly struck the man several times, causing injuries to his head, abdomen, and back.
Charges of simple assault and harassment are pending.
The name of the woman was not released.
Brookville Borough Police were assisted by Punxsutawney-based State Police at the scene.
