According to court documents, the following criminal charges were filed in Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana’s office against 22-year-old Alyssa Nicole Shipe, of DuBois:
– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, Misdemeanor
– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor
Shipe has been charged with selling methylenedioxymethamphetamine (known as Molly) to a drug task enforcement officer via a confidential informant (C.I.) on January 2, 2018.
According to a criminal complaint, the C.I. made arrangements for a controlled buy of $130.00 worth of Molly using a cellular device to send and receive text and voice communication with a known individual via Facebook messenger.
The controlled purchase was scheduled to happen around 8:46 p.m. on January 2, 2018, at a residence located on Willow Alley in Reynoldsville Borough, Jefferson County, the complaint states.
According to the complaint, Shipe was in possession of and sold approximately 1.10 grams of “Molly,” a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 21, 2019, in front of Judge Inzana.
A certified summons was issued on January 7, 2019.
