BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Police say charges are pending after a woman struck a man during a domestic incident on Monday in Brookville.
Brookville Borough Police received a phone call reporting a domestic disturbance in progress in the area of Jared Street around 8:25 p.m on Monday, October 12.
Police say during the investigation, it was discovered that a man and a woman, who had both reportedly been consuming alcohol, were arguing.
According to police, while officers were at the scene, the woman then struck the man in the presence of an officer.
Police say the woman was subsequently arrested and placed in the Jefferson County Jail awaiting arraignment on charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct, and underage drinking.
The charges are pending through District Court 54-3-03.
The name of the woman was not released.
