Woman Escapes Injury in Rollover Crash in Pine Township

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225PINE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Dubois-based State Police say a one vehicle accident occurred on March 9 around 8:05 a.m. on Interstate 80, in Pine Township, Clearfield County.

According to police, Leann R. Lawhead, 26, of Clearfield, was traveling west on Interstate 80 when for unknown reason, her 2012 Mazda 6 left the roadway onto the southern berm.

Her vehicle then traveled into deep snow which caused it to turn in a clockwise direction and overturn before coming to a rest on its passenger’s side, facing south, police say.

Lawhead was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.

She was charged with a traffic violation.
