YOUNG TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a hit and run accident occurred around 6:13 p.m. on January 21, in WalMart parking lot, in Young Township, Jefferson County.
According to state police, an unidentified individual operating a 2010 Dodge Caravan allegedly struck the right front corner of a parked 2011 Chevrolet Impala, then fled the scene.
The driver of the Dodge Caravan was later identified as Amanda J. Pearce, 33, of Valier, Pa.
Pearce was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
Charges are pending at Magisterial District Court 54-3-01.
