HEATH TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Marienville-based State Police say around 3:54 a.m. on June 15, an assault occurred at a camp along Leo’s Lane, in Heath Township, Jefferson County.
According to police, 24-year-old Edward J. McNeel, III, of Tarentum, and a 26-year-old female, also of Tarentum, became engaged in an argument.
Police say at one point McNeel allegedly grabbed the female victim by the arm causing injury.
The victim was transported to Brookville Hospital for treatment.
McNeel was arrested for simple assault and arraigned before Magistrate District Justice Gregory Bazylak.
Bail was set at $25,000.00 unsecured.
