Woman Injured in I-80 Crash in Brookville

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Police say a woman was injured in a crash on Interstate 80 in Brookville on Wednesday.

According to police, around 12:48 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, a one-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 80 near the 79.8 mile marker in Brookville Borough.

Police say 23-year-old Paige M. Miller, of Brookville, was operating a 2004 Jeep Liberty, traveling west on Interstate 80, when she started to slide on an ice-covered bridge. The vehicle struck a concrete barrier on the south side of the roadway with its front end, then continued to travel west and came to a final rest facing west along the south shoulder.

Miller suffered minor facial injuries and was transported to Penn Highlands Brookville by private vehicle.

The vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front end.

Miller was cited for a required financial responsibility violation.
