Woman Injured in Vehicle vs. Deer Crash in Brookville

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Police say a woman was injured when her vehicle struck a deer on Interstate 80 in Brookville Borough recently.

According to police, around 9:23 p.m. on May 16, a one-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 80 westbound near the 79.8 mile marker in Brookville Borough.

Police say a 2018 Nissan Altima, operated by 34-year-old Krystal A. Davis, of Queens Village, New York, was traveling in the right lane when the vehicle struck a deer, then pulled over onto the north shoulder of the highway.

Davis was wearing a seatbelt. She suffered suspected minor injuries but refused transport for medical treatment.

Her passengers – an 11-year-old male and a 12-year-old male – were both wearing seatbelts and were not injured.

McPherson’s Towing removed the vehicle from the crash scene.
