A moving ambulance on it''s way to a crash site.BARNETT TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Marienville-based State Police say around 3:47 p.m. on September 21, a one-car accident occurred on State Route 899, 4396 feet north of Greenwood Road, in Barnett Township, Forest County.

According to police, 34-year-old Brandy Gallagher, of Gettysburg, was traveling south along SR 899, negotiating a left-hand curve in the roadway.

Police say the rear 6 o’clock position of her 1995 Lexus LS 400 began to slide to the right, and she was unable to maintain control of the car. It slid across the northbound lane and struck a rock embankment off the east berm of the roadway with the front 2 o’clock position of the vehicle.

The vehicle then continued to spin counterclockwise and again struck the embankment – this time with the rear, 5 o’clock position of the vehicle. It then slid across both lanes of travel and came to a final rest against the western guard rails.

Gallagher was using a seat belt and suffered moderate injuries.

Clarion Hospital EMS transported her to Brookville Hospital.

The car sustained disabling damage as a result of the traffic collision and was towed from the scene by Leadbetter Towing.

Gallagher will be charged with summary traffic violations relating to the crash with Judge Daniel Miller of District Court 3-4-03.
