Woodland Estates has two locations in Clarion and Forest counties, providing an reasonable alternative for those wanting their own home without breaking the bank to do it.

Woodland Estates holds the most optimistic future for manufactured housing.

A brand new home can be purchased for less than the cost of a new pickup, which leaves people with far more expendable income to improve their quality of life, be able to take a vacation, and have the economic freedom and peace of mind that comes from not having a huge mortgage payment looming every month.

In 2014 when Matt and Marci Steinman purchased the community formerly known as Allegheny Mobile home park they did it with one singular purpose, to bring good quality affordable housing to Clarion and Forest counties.

The Steinmans specialize in manufactured housing communities, or some may remember them as “trailer parks”.

These are communities that have manufactured homes and the residents either own the home and rent a site, or rent the home and the sites.

“Forest county has a lot of older camps and large old homes that are currently being used as rental properties and we feel we bring a product to the market that is more up to date and efficient to live in,” Matt said. “We can provide housing at a much better price and have a home that is very easy to heat and all on one floor, which is much better for our senior citizens.”

In manufactured housing communities one of the added benefits is having your own yard and your own space, something that apartments are lacking.

Over the last 20 years manufactured housing has enjoyed a renaissance in quality and creature comforts.

The same materials used in conventional site built housing are used in manufactured homes as well as a few others that enable manufactured home dweller to really personalize their homes.

Today’s homes can be ordered with overhead duct work, ultra modern and efficient kitchens, low maintenance commercial vinyl flooring, drywall walls and ceilings, thermopane windows, and the lowest cost to heat and cool of any type of housing.

All of this is done in a climate-controlled environment of a factory so you can rest assured your home was never rained on.

Homes are inspected by code inspectors at every stage of manufacture to insure you get the highest quality product.

Pex plumbing is used throughout the new homes and is the most cutting edge durable water supply lines on the market today.

In Clarion, Woodland Estates is located on Railroad Street.
