WRC Senior Services is continuing the educational series with the theme local produce, sponsored by The Laurels.
Participants will learn about the health benefits of local produce.
The Laurel’s chef Autumn Vay will demonstrate how to incorporate fresh produce in healthy and tasty ways into meals.
After the demonstration, participants will be able to enjoy the delicious meal:
- Portobello Caprese Salad
- Turkey and Peach Panini
- Zucchini Noodles with Pesto and Cherry Tomatoes
- Zucchini Cupcakes with Buttercream
- Strawberry, Lime and Cucumber Mint Water
This event will be held in the Great Room at Laurelbrooke Landing.
