Police say the crash occurred at 5:16 p.m. January 21 when 24-year-old Joseph Winkler, of Reynoldsville, was travelling east down a steep hill in a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
At the same time, 54-year-old Kim Carcella, of DuBois, was travelling west uphill on the same road in a 2014 Honda CRV.
Winkler began sliding straight through the curve, causing Carcella to veer right.
The Winkler’s vehicle impacted Carcella’s vehicle in the left-front.
The vehicles both came to rest in the shoulder of the roadway.
The drivers were both wearing seat-belts and were not injured in the crash.
