All Star Big Band Holiday Concert

Under the direction of Brockway natives Bill Stowman and Brad Genevro, the Brockway All-Star Big Band was established to honor Brockway’s rich musical association with jazz and to revive the tradition of enjoying music from the big band era as part of the Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration.

Stowman and Genevro created the event in order to honor their Brockway teachers, George Monaco and Don Routch.

Some of the best players in Pennsylvania have been assembled to fill the ranks of the All-Star Big Band. They, too, have come to respect and admire the history associated with the town and its music.

Those who long for the sounds of yesteryear and want to embrace a longstanding Brockway tradition are invited to come out and enjoy the Brockway All-Star Big Band as it leads a journey through the big band era and celebrates a truly American art form.
