Beryl E. Moose

Beryl E. Moose, 93, of DuBois, died on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Christ The King Manor in DuBois, PA.

Born on Dec. 28, 1924 in Aleppo, Pa, he was the son of the late Carl & Edna (Wright) Moose.

On May 19, 1956, he married Vanessa R. Rezzolla Moose, she preceded him in death on April 3, 2006.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served During World War II aboard the USS Canberra.

Beryl retired from Local Union No 669 Road Sprinkler Fitters after 50 years of service.

He was a member of the George D. Montgomery American Legion Post 17, The James J. Patterson Post 813 Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Falls Creek Eagles Aerie # 965. He enjoyed golfing, football, and baseball. He especially enjoyed watching his grandsons play football.

Beryl is survived by two daughters; Alisa Ward and her husband Jack of Brockway, PA, and Brenda Curry and her husband Bob of DuBois, PA. Also surviving are a sister, Olive Martin of Washington, PA, and three grandchildren, Jake and Jesse Ward, and Austin Moose.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Madeline Riffle.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery where full military honors will be accorded by the member of the DuBois Area Honor Guard.

Memorials may be placed with Christ the King Manor, 1100 West Long Ave., DuBois, PA 15801.
