PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – State Police announced today that they have arrested 16 Jefferson County residents and 2 Elk County residents in an undercover drug sting.
Over the past year, Pennsylvania State Police Troopers assigned to Troop C have been conducting investigations into illegal drug distribution in the DuBois, Brockway, Brookville, Clarion, Punxsutawney and Ridgway areas. Throughout these investigations, undercover Troopers purchased controlled substances from as many as 22 individuals.
Arrest warrants for violations of the Controlled Substance, Drug Device and Cosmetic Act were served throughout the Troop C coverage area today by State Police Troopers and police officers of the Jefferson County Drug Task Force.
Pursuant to these warrants, the following individuals were taken into custody during this operation:

Timothy KRAMER, DOB: 11/28/79, Jefferson County Jail
David BECKER, DOB: 05/01/89, Brookville, PA
Brandon ROWLES, DOB: 12/07/89, Reynoldsville, PA
Noelle SWEARER, DOB: 04/30/84, Ridgway, PA
Douglas SCHULZE, DOB: 01/24/87, Ridgway, PA
James TARTAL, DOB: 08/28/86, Jefferson County Jail
Mark FARNSWORTH, DOB: 07/11/90, Punxsutawney, PA
