BIG RUN, Pa. (EYT) — A local woman was taken to the hospital with head and lower body injuries after crashing her ATV on Church Street in Big Run Thursday afternoon.
According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, Kaycee Elkin, 23, of Big Run, was driving the ATV south on Church Street when she lost control and collided with a parked 2009 Ford Ranger pickup truck.
She was taken to Punxsutawney Hospital by Jefferson County EMS for treatment of injuries of an unknown severity.
The ATV sustained minor damage.
Big Run Borough Volunteer Fire Department assisted with traffic control.
