Missing Mahaffey Woman Found Safe

MAHAFFEY, Pa. (EYT) – State police in Punxsutawney say a Mahaffey woman who was reported missing has been found safe.

A release issued by the Punxsutawney-based State Police indicates 30-year-old Delona Jade Bowser of Colonel Drake Highway, Mahaffey, Clearfield County, was located on Tuesday, February 19, in DuBois by DuBois-based State Police.

According to police, she was located in good health and said that “her reason for not coming forward was that she did not want to be found in that she refused to cooperate with law enforcement.”

PSP Punxsutawney also expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the public’s assistance with this case as the public aided law enforcement with locating Bowser and bringing peace of mind to her concerned friends and family.

Bowser was reported missing on February 6 after she failed to show up to visit her child in Grampian, Clearfield County, on February 4.
