UPDATE: Vehicle Bursts Into Flames Following Interstate 80 Crash


CLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) – The eastbound lanes of Interstate 80 have reopened near Exit 70 following a traffic accident Thursday morning near Strattanville.

Clarion-based State Police confirmed the re-opening of the highway.

According to Clarion County 911, the call came in at 8:49 a.m.

At 8:57 a.m., the vehicle was reported to be on fire.

Volunteer fire departments from Strattanville and Corsica responded, as well as Clarion Hospital EMS and Clarion-based State Police.

It is unknown whether there were any injuries.

Police have not yet released specific details on the accident.
