Clifford R. “Skip” Miller

Clifford R. “Skip” Miller, 88, of Erie, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at UPMC Hamot.

Born April 30, 1929, in Green Valley, PA, a son of the late Van and Laura (Geer) Miller.

Skip retired in 1990 after 25 years from General Electric as a Core Maker. He loved spending time at camp in Green Valley, and also enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and playing his guitar and harmonica.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Myrtle M. (Martin) Miller; three brothers, Wayne, Glenn, and Satch Miller and four sisters, Jane Schetter, Shirley, Laura, and Sara Miller.

Survivors include a daughter, Lana Celeski, husband John; two sons Rodney Miller, wife Marguerite, and Eric Miller, husband Raymond Maholtz; a grandson, Jeramy Miller, wife Sarah; two granddaughters, Laura Miller and Emily Miller; four great-grandchildren, Kaylie, Madison, Jude, and Scarlett; a sister, Dorothy Wolf and a brother, Kenneth Miller both of Waterford; and many nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. at Greengarden Blvd, services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Erie County Memorial Gardens.
