Details Released: Local Man Seriously Injured After Being Dragged by Car on State Route 322

UNION TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police have released details surrounding a November 25 crash that left a local man seriously injured.

State Police say the accident happened around 8:30 p.m. on Rockton Mountain Highway (SR-322) near Spruce Hill Road.

Michael A. Snyder, 48, of Falls Creek, was attempting to exit his 2010 Dodge Nitro to
check the guide rail for damage from a previous crash and forgot to put the vehicle into the park position, according to police.

The vehicle rolled backward and dragged Snyder across State Route 322 and into an embankment.

Snyder was transported to UPMC Altoona for treatment of serious injuries.

There is no word on his current condition.
