HARRISBURG, Pa. (EYT) – Last week Samantha Griebel of Punxsutawney received a citation from Rep. Cris Dush on the floor of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for her accomplishments during the 2018 Elks Hoop Shoot.

As a 10-year old, Griebel recaptured the Pennsylvania championship free-throw title in the girls’ 10-11-years old bracket. She then won the Regional Hoop Shoot title competing against the New York and New Jersey champions before going on to place fourth at the National Competition held in Chicago.
