Firefighters Battle Greenhouse Blaze in Jefferson County


HENDERSON TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Firefighters extinguished a blaze at a greenhouse Sunday morning in Henderson Township, Jefferson County.

According to a representative of the Jefferson County Office of Emergency Services, the call came in at 10:25 a.m. for a greenhouse fire along Sheplar Road.

Volunteer firefighters from Big Run, Sykesville and Elk Run responded.

DuSan Ambulance Service was also dispatched.

No injuries were reported.

The fire was under control at 10:47 and the scene was cleared at 11:20 a.m.
