Four-Person Fight Breaks Out During Sykesville Domestic Dispute

SYKESVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Police say four Sykesville residents were involved in a harassment and disorderly conduct incident in Sykesville Borough Thursday evening.

According to police, around 8:22 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, four people were involved in a physical altercation.

Police say Ray Kilgore, III, 35, of Sykesville, was escorting a six-year-old juvenile to his mother’s residence. Kilgore was reported to be escorting the child in “an aggressive manner,” at which time Barry Anderson, 65, of Sykesville, confronted Kilgore.

According to the report, the two men became engaged in a physical fight in which Kilgore allegedly chest-bumped Anderson and then struck him on the right side of his head. Kilgore then began to pull Anderson’s hair while Anderson allegedly struck Kilgore with a closed fist on the right cheek.

Police say Virginia Anderson, 61, of Sykesville, and Melody Anthony, 28, of Sykesville, then became involved in the altercation, with Virginia Anderson allegedly pulling Kilgore’s hair. Anderson and Anthony then became involved in a separate altercation in which they both struck each other.

Numerous charges are expected to be filed through Magisterial District Judge Inzana’s office.
