WIKES-BARRE, Pa. – Samantha Griebel is heading to the Elk Hoop Shoot National Championship for the third time after taking home the Regional Championship last week.

Griebel won the Regional Championship March 16 at Penn State Wilkes-Barre beating out state champions from New York and New Jersey in the 10-11-years-old girls’ division. She will now face off against 11 other competitors at the national competition in Chicago April 27.
Griebel won the national title in 2016 and finished fourth last year (2018).
Anyone wanting to wish Samantha Good Luck or send Prayers can do so at the Elks web site at Elks.org/hoopshoot/greetings. They will be collected, put in a book and presented to her in Chicago.
