Grandma’s Cherry Delight – Try this sweet, easy-to-make dessert!

Grandma’s Cherry Delight

Ingredients

• 2 pkgs. of graham crackers – crushed
• ¼ cup sugar
• ½ lb. butter – melted
• 1 large package of Dream Whip
• 2- 3 oz. packages of cream cheese (softened)
• 2/3 cup sugar
• 2 cans of cherry pie filling

Directions

~Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

~To make the crust, combine crushed graham crackers, ¼ cup sugar, and melted butter and spread in a 9×13 inch pan. Bake for 5 minutes.

~Prepare Dream Whip according to directions on box; whip until stiff.  Then add cream cheese and 2/3 cup sugar and mix until cream cheese is blended well. Spread the mixture over the crust. Add cherries on top and chill before serving.

~Approximately 12 generous servings.

Variation:  use blueberry or pineapple pie filling
