BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — The Jefferson County Historical Society will be hosting free weekly programs every Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Scripture Rocks Heritage Park.
The park is located on Route 28, 1/8 mile south of Interstate 80 exit 81 on Route 28 in Brookville.
The purpose of these programs is to enhance the knowledge of the visitors and community about the geology, archeology, and animals of the park and to learn more about the man behind the carvings far beyond what the panels tell you.
Expect to walk two miles and dress appropriately for the weather.
Allow two hours for the tour and bring water to take with you on the trail.
