Marie Anne Long

Marie Anne Long, 79, of Coloma passed away Tuesday, December 12 at Giliad Elder Care in St Joseph.

Marie was born August 31, 1938, in Luthersburg, Pennsylvania to John and Alice (Yeagar) Seyler.

She resided in Pennsylvania the majority of her life before moving to this area in 2014.

She was a very active member of the Clearfield Seventh-Day Adventist Church serving as pianist, organist, teacher, and treasurer.

Marie was formerly employed by Brockway Area Public Schools, and Penn State University, Dubois Campus before retiring in 2000.

She also was a member of the American Association of University Women, and a volunteer for Camp Confidence.

In her free time, Marie enjoyed hiking, playing the piano, reading, and doing crossword puzzles.

Survivors include her husband Richard whom she married July 15, 1961; her daughter Ami Hendrickson of Coloma and a granddaughter Cassandra Hendrickson.

She was preceded in death by her brother John Seyler in 2017 and her son-in-law Robert Hendrickson in 2016

Cremation has taken place.
