Mary Kay Swartzfager, 64, of Cyclone, PA, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 21, 2017.
Mary was born on January 25, 1953, in Ridgeway, PA. Mary was proceeded in death by her husband of 35 years, Brian Swartzfager and her father, Raymond Carr. Mary is survived by her children and their families, Carrie and Jim Hart (Tori and Tia Transue)(Lauren and Morgan Hart) of Smethport, PA, Valerie and Randy Santiago (Samantha and husband Ace Callen and DiAnte) of Reno, NV, great-granddaughter Bryliee Kay Callen, Aaron and Karen Swartzfager (McKinley and Macy) of Laurel, MS. Mary is also survived by her mother Carolyn Carr of Brockport, PA and Brother Randy and wife Kathy of Ridgway, PA, and sister Patty and husband Jim Buehler also of Ridgway, PA, many nieces and nephews, and Todd Gorrell for his companionship in her final years. Mary Kay will be remembered for her kindness, laughter, and her love of cooking.
A memorial celebration of Mary’s life will be held from 6-8 pm Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc, 2 Bank St., Smethport, PA, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, September 24, 2017, with the Rev. Max Simms, pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church, officiating.
Her last resting place will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
