Maxine G. Nava, 93, of Ridge Avenue, Falls Creek, PA, died on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at her residence.
Born on July 28, 1924, in Reynoldsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Genevieve F. Drayer Webb. She was married to Adam Nava and he preceded her in death.
Retired, Maxine had been employed at Brockway Glass. She was a member of St. Tobias Church in Brockway, the Catholic Daughters of America and the Blue Army. Maxine also active in the Brockway Historical and Reynoldsville Historical Society’s. She enjoyed bowling.
She is survived by a nephew Rick and a niece Patty.
In addition to her parents and her husband she is also preceded in death by a brother Bill Webb.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 16, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Tobias Church in Brockway with Msgr. Charles Kaza presiding. Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery. The Catholic Daughters of America will hold a prayer service at 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home. A Vigil Service will be held Sunday evening at 7:45 p.m. also at the funeral home.
