State Police Calls: Public Intoxication, Harassment

state_policeJEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Public Intoxication in Warsaw Township

State Police say an incident of public intoxication occurred around 8:16 p.m. on October 16, at Allens Mills, in Warsaw Township.

According to police, Michael Metts, 23, of Dayton, and Allan Mahan, 24, of Smicksburg, “appeared under the influence to the degree that they were a danger to himself or other persons or property.”

Police say charges have been filed.

Harassment in Sykesville Borough

State Police say an incident of harassment occurred around 7:40 p.m. on October 13, at a residence located on West Main Street, in Sykesville Borough.

Police say a known 40-year-old female and a known 18-year-old female, both of Sykesville, were engaged in a verbal argument that turned physical as they each pushed the other and pulled the other’s hair.

Both women involved will be cited with a summary violation for harassment.

The names of the suspects were not released.
