CANOE TWP. (EYT) — Punxsutawned-based State Police are investigating an assault that occurred on Sunday morning in Canoe Township, Indiana County.
According to police, around 11:00 a.m. on June 25, a known, 21-year-old black man, assaulted a known, 22-year-old female at a location on Johnsonburg Road, in Canoe Township.
The investigation is continuing.
The name of the perpetrator was not released.
