HEATH TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Marienville-based State Police say around 4:51 p.m. on November 8, a one-vehicle accident occurred on Pine Run Road, 10 feet south of John’s Lane, in Heath Township, Jefferson County.
According to police, 31-year-old Daniel R. Holt, of Brockway, was traveling on Pine Run Road and his 1997 Oldsmobile Bravada traveled off the west side of the roadway and then back across the road and exited the road on the east side.
The vehicle struck a ditch with the front end, police say.
Holt suffered minor injuries.
He was not using a seat belt.
A passenger in Holt’s vehicle, 19-year-old Whitney E. Baxter, of Brockway, suffered injuries of unknown severity.
She was not using a seat belt.
Another passenger in the vehicle was using a child safety seat and was not injured.
Jefferson County EMS transported all three occupants to Brookville Hospital.
Holt was charged with a traffic violation.
