Brookville Woman Escapes Injury in One Vehicle Crash on I-80

Police car lightsWASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say a one vehicle crash occurred on February 10 around 1:45 a.m. on Interstate 80 West, at its intersection with Stevenson Hill Road, in Washington Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, Bonnie J. Coder, 53, of Brookville, was traveling west and lost control of her 2002 Suzuki Vitara on the icy roadway.

The vehicle traveled off the road and onto the north berm, striking a traffic sign, then traveling in a clockwise direction for approximately twenty feet before coming to rest facing north.

Coder was using a seat belt and was not injured.
