Perry J. Moberg

Moberg PerryPerry J. Moberg age 57 of Route 219 Brockway, PA; died on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Highland View Health Care in Brockway.

Born on April 8, 1958 in DuBois, PA; he was the son of the late John D. and Patricia Moorehouse Moberg. He had made his home with Shirley King for over 15 years and she survives.

Retired, Perry had been employed over the years at Beveridge Air in Brookville, at the Green Tree Landfill, Wal-Mart and Ion Technologies in Ridgway.

He was protestant by faith.

Perry was a member of the V.F.W. Club in Crenshaw, the Brockport Army Navy Club and the Horton Sportsmens Club. He was an avid Pirate and Steeler fan. He enjoyed playing pool and was involved in various leagues in the area. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his brother Mark P. Moberg of Crenshaw, 2 daughters: Toni (Robert) Taylor of Maryland and Teddi King of Reynoldsville and 2 grandchildren Yazmin and Robby Taylor. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday, September 8 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 9 at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home, with Rev. David Nagele officiating. Burial will follow in the Wildwood Cemetery in Brockway. Memorial donations may be made to the Hahne Cancer Center.
