Jeff Tech is partnering with the state Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) to help students gain the soft skills they need to succeed in the workplace.

The services available through this partnership are based on eligibility. Students with an IEP (Individual Education Program), identified learning disability or 504 plan or medical condition may qualify for these services. Also, students who may self-identify with anxiety or difficulty in dealing with conditions in the work place may also qualify.

The services offered by OVR are designed to assist people in finding a career path that meets their skill set and abilities.

The services include diagnostics, counseling and guidance, restoration, training, and placement.

When paired with the unique instructional experiences at Jeff Tech, this array of services can launch the career of a student. These supports will lead to employment opportunities for students while they are still in school.
