Ronald E. Conrad, Jr., age 52, of Sigel, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, as a patient of the Penn Highlands Hospital in Brookville, Pa.
Ron was born on May 21, 1964, in Philipsburg, Pa., to Ronald E. and Irene L. (Chelton) Conrad. Ronald E. Sr., preceded him in death, his mother Irene survives him and resides in Carlisle, Pa.
In February of 1994, he married Tina Marie (Smith) Conrad, who also survives him.
For most of his career, Ron was a truck driver.
He loved being outdoors and he enjoyed taking his gun for a walk during hunting season. He was fond of old cars and at one point he restored a 1952 Ford pickup. He loved his three dogs, Lily, Herman, and Buster.
In addition to his mother and wife, Ron is survived by two sisters; Annette (Peter) Richards of Fredericksburg, V.A.; Jody (Charles) Hoverter of Gardners, Pa.; two nephews; Zachary Hoverter and Devon Zimmerman; two nieces, Dayna Richards and Kelsey Zimmerman.
Services for Ron are going to be private and handled by the McKinney-d’Argy Funeral Home, Ltd, 345 Main St., Brookville Pa., 15825.
