DUBOIS, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois Central Catholic’s Jordy and Jackson Frank both signed National Letters of Intent Thursday to play sports in college.

Jordy signed an NTL to play Division 1 softball at St. Francis (Pa.). A catcher, she helped lead the Lady Cardinals to the District 9 1A title and the PIAA semifinals last year by hitting .667 with an incredible OPS of 2.092. She reached double digits in home runs (12), doubles (11) and triples (10) while driving in 42 runs and scoring 65 runs (she only had 90 official at bats). Her slugging percentage was 1.411 and her on-base percentage was 0.681. Frank hit over .700 in the regular season. For her efforts, she was named PA High School Softball Association Class 1A Player of the Year and the D9Sports.com Offensive Player of the Year.

Jordy’s twin brother Jackson, meanwhile, will be continuing his baseball career at Mount Aloysius. Jackson Frank helped DCC to the District 9 1A title as a junior.
