PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – Three individuals are facing felony drug charges after a drug bust in Punxsutawney.
Court documents indicate that the Jefferson County Drug Task Force filed criminal charges against Michael Anthony White, 32, of Punxsutawney, Heather Marie Kellar, 30, of Burnside, and Raymond Guy Marsh, 33, of Punxsutawney.
According to a criminal complaint, around 12:07 p.m. on February 7, an undercover officer made arrangements to meet a known man in an area on Harmony Road in Punxsutawney to purchase crystal methamphetamine.
Around 6:00 p.m., the undercover officer met the individuals at the designated location, and an exchange of $300.00 for “crystal meth” was made.
Other undercover officers followed the individuals onto Belmont Avenue, where a marked PSP vehicle stopped it while officers surrounded the vehicle. A Punxsutawney Borough Police vehicle also boxed in the vehicle. All of the officers exited their patrol and undercover vehicles and apprehended Raymond Guy Marsh, Heather Kellar, Michael White, and a known female who was the driver of the vehicle.
While officers were attempting to subdue all of the individuals in the vehicle, Michael White attempted to run from police; however, he was apprehended a short distance away.
All of the individuals were searched and then transported to the Punxsutawney Borough Police station.
The criminal complaint indicates that Heather Kellar allegedly had three bundles of heroin in her possession.
Additionally, the complaint states that all three individuals are being charged with selling an unknown, clear crystalized substance and representing it as crystal methamphetamine.
Michael White was arraigned at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, in Magisterial District Judge Jacqueline J. Mizerock’s office on a felony charge of Selling Noncontrolled Substance Represented as Substance Controlled.
Unable to post $10,000.00 cash bail, he was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.
Heather Marie Kellar was arraigned at 10:05 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, in Judge Mizerock’s office on the following charges:
– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Sell Noncontrolled Substance Represented as Substance Controlled, Felony
– Intentional Possession Controlled Substance By Person Not Registered, Misdemeanor
– Possession Controlled Substance, Contraband/Inmate, Felony 2
Unable to post $30,000.00 cash bail, she was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.
Raymond Guy Marsh was arraigned at 9:35 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, in Judge Mizerock’s office on following charges:
– Sell Noncontrolled Substance Represented as Substance Controlled, Felony
– Use/Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor
He was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail after failing to post $50,000.00 cash bail.
Marsh has a history of drug-related arrests that date back to 2011.
Preliminary hearings for all three individuals are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, with Judge Mizerock presiding.
As of Friday, February 9, the driver of the vehicle involved in the drug transaction had not been charged.
