James Frederick Patton age 86 of Patton Road Brockway, PA; died on July 22, 2021, at his residence.
Born on July 14, 1935, in Washington Twp. Jefferson County, he was the son of the late Arthur Raymond and Edith Smith Patton.
On June 6, 1953, he was married to Constance “Connie Jean” Varner and she preceded him in death on December 19, 2003. Retired, Jim had been employed as a Mechanic/Supervisor at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center. He also was a past Supervisor for Washington Twp. He was a member of the S.O.I. Club in Brockway, the Eagles Club in Falls Creek and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Coudersport Consistory.
Jim was an avid Steeler fan and was a season ticket holder. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and watching westerns.
He is survived by 6 children: Barbara (Kurt) Souvey of Marana, AZ; Robert (Elizabeth) “Jim” Patton of Brockway; Cindy Patton of Falls Creek, PA; Richard (Pamela) Patton also of Falls Creek; Shari Dilley of DuBois and Daniel Patton of Las Vegas, NV; a sister Janie Pifer of Reynoldsville; 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and his wife he is also preceded in death by 2 sons: Timothy and David Patton, a grandson Joshua, a brother William Patton and a sister Nancy Patton.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, July 25 from 2PM to 4PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11AM also at the funeral home with Rev. Terry Felt officiating. Burial will follow in the Beechwoods Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart Center at Penn Highlands DuBois 100 Hospital Avenue DuBois, PA, 15801.
