Penn State Football Media Day to be Streamed Live via GoPSUSports.com Thursday

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – With the Penn State football team set to start training camp for its 130th season Thursday, fans can get exclusive coverage of Thursday's media day activities on GoPSUSports.com. Check out more of Burdick's work here) The coverage will include free live streaming audio inside College Sports LIVE during press conferences featuring Coach Franklin and coordinators Brent Pry, Joe Moorhead and Charles Huff beginning at 11 a.m. from the Beaver Stadium Media Room. Additionally, the BTN will be streaming Coach Franklin’s 11 a.m. press conference on BTN2Go. Beginning at 12:45 p.m., GoPSUsports.com will host “Media Day Extra Point” with 90 minutes of streaming video interviews featuring a host of coaches and student-athletes from the field in Beaver Stadium. The free stream will begin when Coach Franklin joins host Brian Tripp on the GoPSUsports.com set at 12:45 p.m. Franklin and the coaching staff will schedule the initial two weeks of the 29 allotted preseason practices around the last seven days of classes and final exams for Penn State's second summer academic session. Final exams are Aug.12. The team can begin practicing in full pads during the sixth practice of camp. The Nittany Lions return 18 starters and 40 letterwinners and opens the season on Sept. 3 against Kent State. A maximum of 105 players at NCAA colleges and universities are permitted to participate in football training camp. Additional players can begin practice with the team on the first day of classes for the fall semester.
