10th Annual WRC Healthy Aging Fair Set for Today

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – WRC Senior Services is hosting its 10th annual WRC Healthy Aging Fair on June 23 at Laurelbrooke Landing in Brookville.

The event is from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

There will be free health screenings sponsored by Cura Hospitality and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Multiphasic blood testing will be offered for $45.00. These tests include CMP – Complete Metabolic Panel; CBC – Complete Blood Count, cholesterol levels, and thyroid function.

PSA (prostate) blood testing is available for $25.00, and Vitamin D testing is offered for $50.00.

Appointments for blood testing should be made at 814-849-1205.

Over 30 vendors will be on hand to provide information about healthy aging, community resources and services, and free health screenings.

The confirmed free health screenings are Oral screenings, lung function, pulse ox, blood pressure, balance, blood glucose, memory, and hearing.

There will also be free mini-acupuncture treatments, free chair massage, and free reflexology demonstration.

There will be door prizes and free giveaways. Free tote bags and flashlights will be given to the first 200 attendees.
