Crystal Lynn Mitchell, 55, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Magee-Womens Hospital.
She was born on February 10, 1961 in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Beverly Irene (Guzzo) Scott and Harry James Mitchell of Reynoldsville.
Crystal was a graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School. She was a familiar face at Sandy’s Bar in Anita, as her mother Beverly Scott owned the bar for many years as she was growing up. Her enjoyments were spending time with her friends at the Eagles and the American Legion.
She is survived by three brothers, Rick Mitchell and wife Michelle of Florida, Perry Mitchell and wife Gina of Punxsutawney, and Douglas Scott and Diane Yates of Punxsutawney; three nieces.
There will be no visitation.
Her ashes will be interred at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.
Arrangements entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
