20-Year-Old Man Faces DUI Charges Following Crash in Pine Creek Township

handcuffsPINE CREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say a DUI crash occurred early Saturday morning on Interstate 80 East, at the 82.6 mile marker, in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, around 3:50 a.m. on April 1, a known, 20-year-old Harrison City man was involved in a one-vehicle crash.

Police say while speaking with the driver, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was evident on his breath.

The known male was subsequently arrested for DUI.

DUI and related charges are pending blood results.

He also faces summary traffic violations.

The driver’s vehicle – a 2004 Jeep Cherokee – sustained major damage.
