54-Year-Old Man Faces DUI Charges Following Traffic Stop on Route 28

PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – A 54-year-old man is facing DUI charges following a recent traffic stop on Route 28, in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County.

Punxsutawney-based State Police say on Tuesday, November 25, a known male, of Mercer, was stopped on SR 28 near the Interstate 80 overpass.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle was observed committing a summary traffic violation, and during the stop, it was determined he was under the influence of alcohol.

The investigation is ongoing.

The name of the suspect was not released.
