8th Annual Art in the Park Kicks Off Brookville Laurel Festival Today

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – The 8th Annual Art in the Park kicks off Brookville Laurel Festival on Saturday, June 16.

The event runs until Sunday, June 24.

There are many family-friendly events planned for all ages to enjoy, and everyone is invited to come out and have fun at the festivities.

Saturday, June 16

8th Annual Art in the Park

1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The event is located at the Historic Brookville Town Square and Main Street.

Come out and enjoy this FREE event, rain or shine!

Enjoy games, art demonstrations, creative activities, and live music.

This year’s musicians are as follows:

– 1:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., Well-Strung Trio (Pittsburgh bluegrass band)
– 2:15 p.m., Reitz Theatre teaser of Bye Bye Birdie
– 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Mitch Littler (Oil City Blues and Rock)
– 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Jay Klugh (Clarion, Folk and Rock)
– 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., JCL (Brookville, Folk and Rock)

Entertainment is brought to you by the Federal Order of the Eagles.

There will also be a Creative Kid’s Tent, a group of young entrepreneurs selling their handmade and homegrown goods.

7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

– Pork McElhinny at the Columbia Theatre, 150 Main Street, Brookville, Pa.

– Opening act by Tunes in a Bucket
