A. Joy Corbin Ferraro, age 81, of Brookville, PA. Died Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at the Laurels in Brookville.
She was born in Union Township, Jefferson County, PA, on April 6, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Arthur W. and Blanche (Dykes) Corbin.
Joy worked at Sylvania in Brookville as a young woman, then she moved to DuBois, St. Mary’s, Oil City, then Erie as her husband’s career advanced. They returned to Brookville after retirement.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years Lanny; her daughter Jill Shaffer of Erie, PA; her son William “Bill” of Fort Lauderdale, FL; her brother William “Bill” with his wife Sally, and their children Kelly, Jeffery, and Debbie.
Friends may call at the McKinney Funeral Home, 345 Main St. Brookville on Friday May 15, 2015, from 11am – 12noon, with a service immediately following at noon with the Rev. J. Ray Baker officiating. Interment to take place at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Sigel, PA.
