RINGGOLD TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say an incident of Aggravated Assault occurred around 6:30 p.m. on November 15, in Ringgold Township, Jefferson County.
According to police, the incident occurred as the accused, a 24-year-old Punxsutawney man, engaged a 22-year-old Punxsutawney woman in a verbal altercation at a location on King Road.
The verbal altercation then resulted in a physical altercation, say police.
Charges are pending against the accused.
The name of the accused was not released.
