THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PITTSBURGH HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH…WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS…6 INCHES OR GREATER.

* WINDS…NORTHWEST 10 TO 15 MPH.

* WIND CHILL…AROUND 10 BELOW.

* IMPACTS…FROST BITE AND HYPOTHERMIA ARE POSSIBLE IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN

* SNOW/ICE BEGINNING…SUNDAY MORNING.

* PERIOD OF MOST INTENSE SNOW/ICE…SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND OVERNIGHT.

* SNOW/ICE ENDING…MONDAY AFTERNOON.

* IMPACTS…HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED DUE TO REDUCED VISIBILITY AND SNOW ACCUMULATION.
