Melvin “Turk” Waterbury served our country in the United States Air Force.

At 17, Melvin enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he remained for the next 21 years.
During his time in the military, he traveled quite extensively, having been stationed in Turkey, Canada, England, Thailand, North Dakota, Michigan, Minnesota, and Georgia.
Following his death, a memorial service was held at the Zion United Methodist Church in Brookville, PA, with military honors.
